Abbaye Notre-Dame de Leffe

Premonstratensian abbey north of Dinant

Abbaye Notre-Dame de Leffe stands just north of Dinant, best known internationally through the beer name but rooted in a much older Premonstratensian abbey history. The complex adds a religious and architectural stop to a town usually defined by the Meuse, citadel and saxophone heritage.

Access can be more limited than at a conventional museum, so check visit options before going. Even from outside, the abbey makes a worthwhile extension to a riverside walk north from central Dinant.
