Clara-Zetkin Park is Leipzig's great central breathing space, stretching west from the inner city into a chain of lawns, paths, and riverbank greenery. It is where the city loosens its collar: joggers, cyclists, students, families, and picnickers all pass through.
The park is especially useful because it connects easily with other green areas along the Elster and Pleisse. Come for a walk after the museums and churches, or use it as a low-key route toward Leipzig's western neighbourhoods.
