Leipzig's Old Town Hall is a long Renaissance landmark on the market square, built in the 1550s and later converted into the city history museum. Inside are period rooms, religious art, exhibits on Leipzig's civic past, and a banqueting hall that makes the building more than an exterior photo stop.
