Budapest's Military History Museum occupies the west wing of the former Ferdinánd Barracks in the Castle District. Its collections cover Hungarian military history through weapons, uniforms, flags, medals, maps, photographs, posters, and archival material.
The setting makes it easy to combine with Buda Castle, Matthias Church, and the quieter streets on the western side of Castle Hill.
