Vienna Gate is the northern entrance to Buda's Castle District, rebuilt in 1936 on the site of a medieval gate that once opened toward the road to Vienna. Its reliefs and inscriptions make it more symbolic than defensive now, but it is a useful landmark for walking the bastion promenade.
