Chiesa della Pieta is best known for its link with Antonio Vivaldi, who taught music at the orphanage here in the early 18th century. The church still draws visitors for Baroque music concerts, and its plain canal-side exterior makes the richly decorated interior feel like a small discovery on the Castello waterfront.
