Venice's Natural History Museum has exhibition halls on palaeontology, exploration and the natural world. It is part of the MUVE museum network and offers a change of pace from churches, palaces and art collections.
The museum is a useful rainy-day stop around Santa Croce and Cannaregio, especially for families.
