The Old Jewish Cemetery on the Lido preserves more than a thousand tombstones, with burials dating from the 16th to the early 18th century. It is one of the quieter historic sites connected to Venice's Jewish community.
Visits are generally by guided tour, so check current arrangements before making the trip across to the Lido.
