Palazzo Da Mula is one of Murano's more interesting surviving palaces, a former summer residence of Venetian patricians. Its Gothic windows and older Veneto-Byzantine decorative panels make it stand out from the lower, workaday buildings around the island.
The appeal is mostly exterior, so it works best as a short architecture stop while walking between Murano's glass museums, churches, and canals.
