The Church of Cristo Re is the parish church of Sant'Erasmo, the lagoon island known more for gardens and quiet lanes than for grand Venetian monuments. It was consecrated in 1929 and has a broad three-nave interior.
Come here as part of a slow Sant'Erasmo visit rather than as a standalone art pilgrimage. The main point of interest is the island setting, though the church also holds a Martyrdom of Sant'Erasmo from the school of Tintoretto.
