Devil's Museum

Over 3,000 devil figures from around the world

Officially the A. Zmuidzinavicius Museum, this one-of-a-kind collection holds over 3,000 depictions of devils — wood carvings, sculptures, masks and figurines gathered from around the world. What started as one man's obsession has grown into Kaunas's most distinctive attraction. It is weird, wonderful, and unlike anything else in the Baltics.

A story
The most notorious exhibit is a carving of Hitler and Stalin dancing over a carpet of Lithuanian skulls. It was created by a Lithuanian sculptor in 1974, while the country was still under Soviet occupation.
