The Church and Monastery of Saint Onufrii is one of Lviv's older religious complexes, just beyond the densest part of the old town. It rewards travellers who have already seen the main squares and want a quieter look at the city's layered church history.
The complex is associated with the Basilian tradition and with early printing in Lviv, giving it more weight than a pretty facade alone. Visit respectfully, and check conditions locally given the wider uncertainty affecting travel in Ukraine.
