Aquatic Park is the calmer edge of Fisherman's Wharf, with a sheltered beach, swimmers, kayakers, and open views across the bay. Municipal Pier curves out from the park and is one of the easiest places in the area to step away from the crowds.
Walk out along the pier for views toward Alcatraz, the Golden Gate, Hyde Street Pier, and the old maritime buildings behind the beach.
