Paisley Park is the recording studio and performance complex built by Prince in the suburb of Chanhassen, about 25 miles southwest of downtown Minneapolis. Following Prince's death in 2016, the facility was converted to a museum and experience centre by his estate. Tours run year-round and give access to the recording studios, rehearsal spaces, and stage where Prince recorded and performed for the last three decades of his life.
The tours cover three to four hours and include access to rooms preserved much as they were during Prince's life, including his vault (though the recordings inside remain sealed), his personal memorabilia collection, and the atrium with its stained-glass dove windows. Tour tickets must be booked in advance; same-day availability is rare. Accessible by car from downtown Minneapolis; there is no direct public transport.
