Cleveland's Gothic Catholic Cathedral, completed in the late 1940s, stands on E.9th Street in the financial district. The warm sandstone facade gives way to a rich interior of deep blue, gold, red, and dark wood. The stained glass is particularly fine. Open throughout the day — quiet chapels and a sense of genuine use make it more than just an architectural visit.
