Camp Bowie Boulevard

A two-mile stretch of brick-paved boulevard west of the Cultural District, lined with a wide spread of independent restaurants, antique shops, and bars. The red bricks date from the 1920s and are protected — a periodic restoration in place of replacement keeps the surface intact. The area has a more local feel than the Stockyards or downtown and is a good drive after the museums close.
