The mile of Magnolia Avenue west of Hemphill Street is Fort Worth's most concentrated dining and drinking strip. The redevelopment of the historic Near Southside neighbourhood through the 2000s turned an aging commercial corridor into a row of independent restaurants, cocktail bars, breweries, and coffee shops, with most of the original early-twentieth-century storefronts kept intact.
Walkable end to end in twenty minutes. Best in the early evening, when patios fill up but it is not yet the bar crowd.
