Forty-plus miles of paved trail along the Trinity River and its forks, connecting the Stockyards, downtown, the Cultural District, the zoo, and several parks. Rentals are available downtown and at Trinity Park. The river is wider here than people expect — wide enough for occasional kayakers — and the trail is one of the city's better outdoor amenities.
