Within roughly half a square mile, the Cultural District holds three of the best art museums in Texas (Kimbell, Amon Carter, Modern), plus the Cowgirl Hall of Fame and the National Cowboy of Fame's Texas affiliate. The buildings sit in landscaped grounds with sculpture gardens between them — easily walkable in summer evenings.
The Will Rogers Memorial Center next door hosts the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo every January, a major two-week event that draws ranchers from across the South West.
