Log Cabin Village

A small living-history museum with seven nineteenth-century log structures relocated from across North Texas to a wooded park near the zoo. Costumed interpreters run a working grist mill, a one-room schoolhouse, a blacksmith shop, and a herb garden. It is aimed at families but well done and a useful corrective to the cattle-drive cliché.
