Caraffa Fine Arts Museum

The provincial fine arts museum, named after the painter Emilio Caraffa, occupies a 1916 building on the eastern edge of Sarmiento Park. The collection focuses on Argentine art from the late 19th century onwards and on contemporary work by Córdoba artists.

The museum is part of a small cultural complex along with the Genaro Pérez Museum and the Palacio Dionisi, all within a few minutes' walk. Rotating temporary exhibitions are usually worth a look. Entry is free.
