Solar da Marquesa is a colonial townhouse associated with Domitila de Castro, the Marchioness of Santos and a well-known figure in Brazil's imperial history. The house now operates as a museum in São Paulo's historic centre.
It is easiest to visit as part of a central São Paulo walk around Pátio do Colégio, Sé Cathedral, and the older streets around the city's colonial core.
