Castillo Pittamiglio is an eccentric brick castle on the Pocitos waterfront, built for the architect and alchemist Humberto Pittamiglio. Its narrow facade, tower, and symbolic details make it one of Montevideo's stranger pieces of urban architecture.
The interior is normally seen by guided tour, so check tour times before crossing town.
