Dhanmondi Eidgah is one of Dhaka's oldest surviving Mughal monuments, built in 1640 as an open-air prayer ground for Eid gatherings. The walled courtyard is simple, but the arched gateway and mihrab give it a clear sense of age amid the busy streets of Dhanmondi.
It is a short stop rather than a full museum visit, best paired with Dhanmondi Lake or the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum nearby.
