Kartalab Khan Mosque

Kartalab Khan Mosque is a historic mosque in Old Dhaka, built under Murshid Quli Khan, the Mughal governor who later became the first Nawab of Bengal. Its age and setting make it part of the dense religious and architectural fabric of the old city.

The mosque is a working place of worship, so visitors should dress and behave respectfully and avoid prayer times unless they are attending. It pairs naturally with other Old Dhaka sights such as Star Mosque, Armenian Church, and Lalbagh Fort.
