Marine Police Headquarters

The former Marine Police Headquarters is one of Tsim Sha Tsui's most handsome colonial buildings, dating from 1884. The compound has been restored and folded into a commercial complex, but the architecture still gives a strong sense of Hong Kong's maritime and policing past.

It is worth a look while walking between the Star Ferry, Harbour City, and the old Kowloon waterfront. Treat it as an architectural stop rather than a museum.
