Saraighat War Memorial Park commemorates the 1671 Battle of Saraighat between the Ahoms and the Mughals. The park has bronze statues of Ahom warriors and a plaque describing part of the battle, giving useful context for one of Assam's defining historical episodes.
It is a short history stop rather than a full outing, best combined with other western Guwahati sights.
