Caravan Sarai is a ruined travellers' inn from Mandu's days as a fortified trading centre. Its remains help explain how merchants, pilgrims, and officials moved through the hilltop city and where they stayed outside the palaces and mosques.
It is a smaller stop than Mandu's headline monuments, but it adds useful context if you are spending a full day among the ruins.
