Dilwara Khan's Mosque is the oldest Islamic structure in Mandu, built in 1405 at the northern end of the Royal Enclave. It is smaller and plainer than Mandu's later showpieces, but that early date gives it real importance in the hilltop city's architectural story.
The mosque is an easy addition while exploring the palaces, tanks, and ruins of the Royal Enclave. Its restrained form also makes a useful contrast with the more theatrical buildings elsewhere in Mandu.
