Taveli Mahal stands near the entrance to Mandu's Royal Complex. The three-storey building probably served as stables below and quarters for cavalrymen and horse caretakers above.
The lower floors now house an Archaeological Survey of India museum, making it a useful stop before or after seeing Jahaz Mahal and the rest of the complex.
