Bukit Kledang is one of Ipoh's easiest escapes into the hills, rising on the western side of the Kinta Valley. Locals use it as a serious morning workout, with paved and rougher routes climbing through forest toward viewpoints and communication towers.
It is not a wilderness hike, but it gives you a quick sense of the limestone-and-jungle landscape that frames Ipoh. Start early, bring water, and expect the climb to feel steeper than it looks from town.
