Kinta Riverfront Walk gives Ipoh a simple evening circuit beside the river, with lights, bridges, and enough movement to make a stroll feel social. It is not old-town heritage on the level of the railway station or Concubine Lane, but it shows the city relaxing after the heat drops.
Come around dusk rather than in the middle of the day. The riverfront works best as a low-pressure add-on after dinner, when the lights are on and the promenade has more life than grandeur.
