The Museum of Herzegovina is a compact local history museum in Mostar's old town. Its small collection covers different phases of Herzegovinian history, with photographs, regional material, and an exhibit on Džemal Bijedić, the Mostar-born Yugoslav prime minister.
The most useful stop for visitors is the film and display on the recent history of the Old Bridge. It helps put Stari Most and the surrounding streets into context before or after walking through the bazaar quarter.
