Bishop's Courtyard is the older, quieter Moravian Museum site tucked below the Cathedral of Ss Peter and Paul. Its core is a former provost's residence, with surviving Gothic elements and Renaissance arcades layered into the compact courtyard. It is not Brno's biggest museum stop, but it gives the Petrov hill area a useful extra dimension beyond the cathedral view.
Exhibitions and opening patterns change, so check the museum programme before making a special trip. In summer the courtyard also becomes an open-air performance setting, which is the best time to see the space alive rather than simply passing through another historic building.
