The Zoological Museum adds natural history to Strasbourg's strong mix of architecture, European institutions, and art museums. Its collections are tied to the university tradition and focus on animals, biodiversity, and the history of scientific collecting.
It is a good choice for families, science-minded visitors, or anyone looking for a museum beyond the cathedral-and-Alsatian-house circuit. Check current opening status and exhibition arrangements, as museum schedules have changed during renovation periods.
