A sheltered bay about 3 km south of Mykonos Town, with a small village that has grown up around the beach. Ornos is one of the most popular beaches for families — it is calm, shallow, and accessible by bus. Several tavernas and cafes line the waterfront, and the bay is busy with pedalos and small boats in summer.
Ornos is also a popular anchorage for yachts, and the bay fills with boats through the summer. The beach itself is sandy and organised, with sun bed rental.
