Miskolc's Greek Orthodox Church was built between 1785 and 1806 and is known for its exceptionally tall iconostasis, filled with scenes from the life of Jesus and the Orthodox feast calendar. The former school building in the churchyard houses Hungary's Orthodox Liturgical Museum.
