Miskolc Synagogue was built between 1861 and 1863 and is one of the city's strongest pieces of 19th-century religious architecture. Its Romantic, Neo-Romanesque, Gothic Revival, and Neo-Byzantine details stand out on Kazinczy Street.
The building is still the city's surviving synagogue and includes exhibition rooms on the Jewish community of Miskolc, including daily life before World War II and the local history of the Holocaust.
