Mindszent Church is one of central Miskolc's more visible Baroque landmarks, standing on its own square with twin towers and a broad facade. It gives the inner city a ceremonial pause between the commercial streets and the routes leading toward Avas Hill.
The church is a selective stop rather than a reason to visit Miskolc by itself. It works best as part of a walking route through the centre, especially if you are already combining Széchenyi Street, the National Theatre, and the museums before heading out to Diósgyőr or Lillafüred.
