Helga Trefaldighets kyrka, the Church of the Holy Trinity, stands close to Uppsala Cathedral but is older in feel and quieter in atmosphere. The present church dates mainly from the late 13th century, and tradition links the site to the death of King Erik the Holy in 1160.
It is an easy addition to the cathedral and university quarter, especially if you want to see a more intimate medieval church beside Uppsala's grander landmarks.
