Beningbrough Hall is an 18th-century red-brick mansion north-west of York, now managed by the National Trust. The house has Italianate Baroque influences, ornate interiors, portrait displays, and a large garden and parkland setting.
It works best as a half-day trip from York, especially for visitors interested in country houses, gardens, and quieter historic sites beyond the city walls.
