Founded in 1958, the Royal MTC is Canada's oldest English-language regional theatre and the model on which the regional theatre movement across the country was built. It operates two stages: the Mainstage for large productions and the more intimate Warehouse Theatre. The season runs October through May, mixing classics, contemporary Canadian plays, and musicals.
