The Currency Museum, inside the Bank of Jamaica building, tells the story of Jamaican money through coins, banknotes, and the country's changing financial symbols. It is a niche stop, but a useful one if you like small museums that explain everyday history.
Pair it with the larger cultural sights downtown rather than crossing town for it alone. The National Gallery, Institute of Jamaica, and waterfront are all stronger anchors for the same part of Kingston.
