Black's Beach sits below high cliffs north of La Jolla. It is known for powerful surf, wide sand, sunset views from the gliderport area, and a clothing-optional northern section inside Torrey Pines State Park.
Access is part of the experience: the cliff paths are steep, so wear sensible shoes and be realistic about the climb back up.
