The Veterans Museum & Memorial Center occupies the former Navy Chapel in Balboa Park. Its exhibits collect uniforms, photographs, documents, and personal material connected with American military service, with attention to the Armed Forces, Coast Guard, and wartime Merchant Marine.
It is a smaller stop than Balboa Park's major museums, but it fits naturally into a south-park museum walk near the San Diego Air and Space Museum.
