Maplewood Park follows the Genesee River gorge through one of Rochester's greener corridors. It is a good place for a walk, with bridges, river views, and enough mature planting to feel distinct from a simple neighbourhood park.
The park is especially appealing during lilac season, when it offers a quieter complement to Highland Park's famous displays. At other times, come for the gorge scenery and a local slice of Rochester away from the main museums.
