Franklin Court

Franklin Court marks the site of Benjamin Franklin's Philadelphia home and gathers several small National Park Service sights around it. Visitors can see the house footprint, an 18th-century-style printing office, the working old post office, and exhibits on Franklin's life and inventions.

It is especially useful for families because the demonstrations make the history feel less static than another room of cases. The court sits in the middle of the Independence historic district, so it fits easily between the larger headline stops.
