Race Street Pier is a landscaped public pier on the Delaware River, set just below the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. Its lawn, benches, and river views make it a useful breather from the dense historic blocks of Old City.
The pier is short, but the bridge framing gives it more presence than a normal waterfront park. It is especially good near sunset or as part of a walk along the Delaware River trail.
