The Galería Santa Fe is Bogota's most accessible contemporary art space — a city-run gallery in a publicly-owned building on Calle 26 that consistently puts on strong shows and charges nothing to enter. It occupies the Planetario building complex and mounts changing exhibitions of Colombian and Latin American contemporary art.
The quality varies, but the shows are more adventurous than the permanent collections in the larger museums. Good for an hour's diversion combined with a visit to the adjacent Planetario de Bogotá. Open Tuesday to Sunday.
