A reliable cafe on Carmichael Street much used by expats, journalists, and visiting consultants. Strong coffee, decent baked goods, sandwiches, and salads, served in a cool air-conditioned room with reliable Wi-Fi. The breakfast menu is generous — eggs, French toast, fruit plates — and the coffee is a notch above most of what you will find elsewhere in Georgetown.
Useful as a working spot and as somewhere to escape the heat for an hour. Closes earlier than you might expect — usually by mid-evening.
